Esperanza Flores

The Esperanza Flores Ballet Folklorico Dance Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to perpetuating the native folk dances of Mexico, Spain, and other Latin Countries.  We give youth from all cultures and segments of life the opportunity to develop their potential, to make friends, and to feel pride in their participation in a positive program within our community.  Based on ethical values and hard work, it opens up a world of opportunity for the dancers to help make a better future for generations to come.

Esperanza Flores, our Dance Group Director, has taught for over 35 years, she has specialized in Classical Spanish and Mexican Folklorico dances. Throughout the years, her opportunities to learn from other cultures gave her the ability to incorporate their form of dance in her classes and performances.

In past years, Esperanza taught from her own studio, but feels she gets a better reward teaching through the community centers.  She currently teaches over 200 students, from ages 3 to 50, throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire, including Chino, Chino Hills, La Puente, Glendora, and Diamond Bar.
