Esperanza Flores is a native of Mexico and has been dancing for over 35 years. She has learned traditional Mexican and Spanish dances from the beautiful Estelita Russek, her niece Carolina Russek, and others in the Los Angeles area. In 1974 she established her own dance group by teaching at various local community recreation departments. Her desire was to provide a cultural alternative to the performing arts experience. Her students enjoy, learn, and discover a variety of cultures but most importantly continue to keep their own cultures and traditions ALIVE! |
